The Purchaser will be managing all procurement activities of spares, consumables etc for the 2 semi submersible accommodation units operated by the company. As a part of the procurement process vendor audits shall be performed and list for approved vendors to be established to secure quality assurance according to company guidelines.
The responsibilities will also consist of negotiations with vendors for long terms supply as well as ad-hoc purchasing from a wide range of suppliers. All procurement activities are handled through our computerized maintenance system “STAR”.
We are seeking a dedicated individual with the following qualifications;
-Engineering degree (minimum BSc) or similar
-Minimum 5 years relevant experience with good references.
-Good command of English, written and spoken
-Experience from the offshore or shipping industry and an established network is an advantage
This is a permanent onshore position based at our HQ in Mölndal, however frequent business travels will be required to visit suppliers, company site offices and onboard visits to the vessels.
