Since the hull of Floatel Superior entered into the drydock approximately one month ago the work has been progressing as expected. The bracings and columns are fitted and also the two corner blocks that will form the forward port and starboard corners of the deck sections have been successfully erected. During the remaining time in the drydock which has been extended until the 15th of April something that is viewed very positively, the forward middle section of the deck box will be lifted in place. After that tentatively on the 6th of April the vessel will be undocked, turned 180 degrees and then docked with the aft columns towards the dock gate. This will provide the crane with enough range to erect the aft corner blocks of the upper hull. The center and aft middle section blocks of the upper hull are currently being prepared for transportation to Singapore from Thailand where they have been fabricated, ETA Singapore is the 6th of April.
