On the 6th of April the vessel was undocked, turned and then docked again. The reason for this maneuver is to provide the possibility to erect the aft corner blocks of the deck-box. When docked with the aft columns towards the dock gate, the heavy lift crane has enough range to erect the remaining two corner blocks of the upper hull. Prior to undocking, the forward middle section block number 36 was successfully erected. Floatel Superior will remain in the dry-dock until the 15th of April.
Blocks 35 and 37 which will form the center and aft middle section blocks of the upper hull arrived safely in Singapore on the 2nd of April after a marine transportation in mild conditions from Thailand where they have been constructed since July last year. The blocks will be erected afloat during mid May, and by then the assembly of the upper hull will be completed.
